Commissioned Tinga Tinga painting
In the winter of 2008 my partner and I went to Tanzania. Where besides vacationing on the beach and in the bush I got in touch with a local Tingatinga painter. Hamed never got his last name worked in the TACS painters collective in Dar es Salaam. Hamed drew up a drawing where I dictated the composition and subject of the painting he would make. The painting became an all in one bonanza, centered around two sun burnt, drained and disengaged tourists.
