Red Rad 12000 Watts was build in collaboration with Aldo Kroese as a site specific installation for the final year show in the Oude Kerk.
The installation consists of four 3000 watt (red rad) electric heaters and a time based foot switch, located within a limited area of the much larger church.
Due to the show taking place in January, the church is very cold.
Thus the installation provides a refuge from the cold in the context of a church/sacred sight.
